We strive towards empowering the society through attempts to eliminate Leprosy and by conducting skill development programmes for women.

About Us

Development of Education Environment Parity and Awareness Movement

We are envisioning a society where Leprosy is eliminated poverty is alleviated and women are empowered.

Our organisation was established in 1999 under the able guidance of Karpagavalli who founded this trust because of her sheer passion and interest in working towards uplifting the society. As a trust, we began with a small team of 9 members embarking on the journey to address some of the most relevant issues such as Leprosy and empower women in order to make them independent. With these in mind, we have come up with various skill development and mitigation programmes to solve the issues that we are trying to address. As a trust, our operations have touched more than 300 villages and have covered a total of 30,000 beneficiaries so far. With these milestones with us, we seek to create a society where women can be financially independent and a place where people can live without being affected by Leprosy.
